Last weekend at Britmums Live i had the opportunity to meet Judy Murray - Andy Murray's mum even though i am sure you know already who she is - and learn more about her new book, website and application Set4Sport. I was so nervous to meet her...but she is such a nice lady that as soon as i start talking to her the words and the questions just seem to come out of my mouth.
Judy says that
"This program was born in the garden. My garden."
The games that can be found in the book, website or the application are played in her garden with her boys. By the way if you have an idea or do you have a game that you would like to share with Judy and her team do not hesitate to do so on the Facebook page. Judy and the team are really open to add more games to their portfolio for all the kids to enjoy.
You can even get your free book just by going on the Set4Sport. You will have to pay the delivery charges but this is just a small price to pay for a great and colourful book. My daughter loves it! Her favourite one is Double Trouble. It is a little bit difficult for her but with time she will get better.
The idea is get your kids active! The games that Judy is proposing are great but you can always make them your own. All you need to play them is be outside and not in front of the TV.
But is nothing wrong with that is it?
These days kids spend way too much time in front of the screens so i am sure you will welcome Judy's idea and even be inspired to invent new games.
