Everything gets old and past it eventually. Animals, people, TV shows, but nothing these days seems to get past their sell by date faster than a mobile phone.
Sure, no sooner have you bought that shiny new TV or computer than theres an advert showing for the next model, the latest model, the model to end all models (until the next one arrives) But your mobile phone ages like nothing else around. Its not just about the tech neither, its about fashion, style, keeping up with everyone else. We all know someone who still uses that tiny Nokia with an actual key board on it (remember those) but secretly none of us want to be that person. We all want to be seen with one of the latest models, and we all know someone who has to have the very latest one no matter what the cost (or how long they have to cue out side the shop) but most of us don't want to be that one neither!
But all this upgrading business means that, pretty soon, we find ourselves with drawers full of old un-used mobile phones that even our kids refuse to use. So what do we do with them.
Keep them long enough and you could take them to antiques roadshow, but most of us don't want them cluttering up our houses that long. So what do we do with them?
Well, the smart people go to Music Magpie. These kind chaps will pay you to send them your old, unwanted, mobile phones. Not just that, but if you want to lighten up your shelves full of old DVD's or CD's then this is the place. If you're lucky you may even be able to get rid of your annoying in-laws or the pesky cat lady down the road, though where you would find the bar code I don't know.
But any way, I digress. If it' old junk you want to get rid of and don't want to have to drag yourself out of bed at some ungodly hour on a Sunday morning for a car boot sale, then don't throw it away, give these chaps a visit. You could be quids in!
Till next time.........
